Contribution covers cost for some USPSA Junior Camp attendees.
Austin, TX. –-(Ammoland.com)- May 13, 2014 – The Ben Stoeger Pro Shop (www.benstoegerproshop.com) has made a donation to the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) to help support the USPSA junior program’s youth camp.
The contribution will help make the camp more affordable for some junior shooters as well as provide funding for needed equipment and training.
“USPSA is honored to have such a generous partner in the Ben Stoeger Proshop,” said USPSA Junior Program Coordinator, Tricia Gensman. “This donation will make the sport of practical shooting accessible to the youth that may not have had the resources otherwise.”
The Ben Stoeger Pro Shop raised funds through sales of t-shirts and donated both the cost of producing the t-shirts and some additional monies as well. Contributions to the USPSA Junior program are used to fund leadership workshops, team T-shirts, scholarships to matches and other outreach programs.
“Getting the youth involved in the sport is important to future growth,” said USPSA Production Champion Ben Stoeger. “I want to make it easy for our younger generations to learn and appreciate the sport that their parents already do- I hope with this contribution it will be a lot easier to do that this year.”
