Murfreesboro, Tennessee – -(Ammoland.com)- Barrett Firearms Manufacturing, Inc. announced the selection of Sam Shallenberger as Senior Vice President of Finance, effective August 11, 2014. In this capacity, Mr. Shallenberger will manage all financial and administrative functions of the company.

Shallenberger is an NRA Life Member, multi-discipline firearms instructor, collector, competitor and hobbyist with a passion for shooting and firearms history. Prior to joining Barrett, he served as Chief Financial Officer of a Nashville technology distributor for eight years.
He has previously served information systems and treasury functions for Gibson Guitar Corporation and has extensive experience on business and not-‐for-‐profit boards.
