Bavarian DIY arsenalsmith Joerg Sprave stumbled across a roll of gluckspfennig, old pre-Euro German pennies, so of course he had to make a launcher to shoot them– at 143mph.

“Of course we have to test it against ballistics gelatin,” says Sprave, after looking at the exit hole of a pfennig when blasted through random household objects.
