Winterset, IA -(AmmoLand.com)- Raised Hunting Presented by Scheels, which airs on Outdoor Channel, is proud to announce their nominations for Best Overall Series and Best Deer Hunting at this year’s 16th Annual Outdoor Sportsman Awards Powered by RAM (OSA).

The OSA serve as the hallmark event to recognize the outstanding programming created by Outdoor Channel’s talent and production teams during the previous year.

In 2016, the Holders will once again head to Las Vegas for the OSA, looking for another surprise upset in the most coveted category of all, “Best Overall” TV series category. The Holders admit winning the award would mean that all their hard work and dedication is being acknowledged by the network and their peers, but also admit what they truly cannot wait for is getting back into the field, with bows and other weapons in hand. They look forward to continuing the ultimate chess game with opponents, such as elk, deer, antelope, turkeys and bears.

Just like most other hunters, it doesn’t matter whether they win or lose, it’s that they get to play at all, and for the Holders, getting to play that game as a family just makes each hunt more memorable.
