An attempted robbery at a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, corner store last week didn’t really unroll as planned after the 19-year-old clerk pulled out a shotgun and opened fire.
Daneurys Santo said it was the second time in less than a year the store, which is owned by his mother, was targeted for such activity. The first time they made off with more than $600, but this time the robber left empty-handed.
Moments after the would-be robber displayed a revolver and demanded cash in both English and Spanish, the clerk pulled a surprise in the form of a shotgun.
Santo fired a shot at the suspect, who was believed to be hit based on a trail of blood left behind.
