Police are searching for the man responsible for robbing two people at a North Philadelphia gas station last week. But while the victims believed they were being robbed at gunpoint, surveillance video shows the suspect was only shoving his finger into their backs, not the end of gun like they thought.
The incident occurred at a BP just after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. One victim is 32-years-old and the other is 37-years-old. Both were robbed at the same location, around the same time, and both believed they were being robbed at gunpoint. The robber made off with $130 from one victim.
An image of the suspect’s face was captured on the video. He is described as a black male, mid-to-late 20’s, who stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with short black hair.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philadelphia Police Department.
