Saturday, January 21, 2017 – Fostering Outdoor Observation Skills: Observation is a fundamental skill for students to be able to do science. Saturday, February 25, 2017 – Fostering Outdoor Inquiry Skills: Inquiry is the cornerstone of science and science education. However, inquiry centered around wildlife and habitats can be a challenge. Saturday, April 22, 2017 – Building Literacy through Wildlife: In this engaging, hands-on workshop, we will introduce educators to practical techniques and ideas to integrate reading and writing into science instruction, with an emphasis on wildlife.
