Kingman, AZ -(Ammoland.com)- Draw results for Arizona’s spring 2015 hunt permit-tags for turkey, javelina, buffalo and bear are now available online by visiting https://phx.az.gov/app/huntdraw/home.xhtml (scroll down and click on “View results and bonus points”)
Applicants can also find out if they were drawn by calling (602) 942-3000 and selecting option two. Please be patient, as a large volume of calls is expected.
There were 39,324 applicants for this year’s spring draw. Refunds for unsuccessful or rejected applicants/applications (less application fees), are expected to be mailed out in late November.
There are about 8,290 leftover tags, including about 8,155 for various javelina hunts (general, juniors, HAM and archery) and about 135 for general turkey hunts. A list of leftover tags is posted at www.azgfd.gov/draw. These tags will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis by mail or in person as follows:
BY MAIL:
- Applications submitted by mail will be accepted by the department beginning at 8 a.m. on Dec. 1, 2014. Mailed applications for leftover tags must be mailed to Arizona Game and Fish Department, Attn: Draw/First Come, 5000 W. Carefree Highway, Phoenix, AZ 85086. Note: Please do not mail applications for leftover tags to any PO Box (this includes using application envelopes with the pre-printed PO Box address).
IN PERSON:
- Beginning at 8 a.m. on Dec. 8, 2014, hunters may also purchase leftover tags by submitting their application in person at any of the seven Arizona Game and Fish Department offices.
