Industry-Leading Programs to Air in 2011; Moved from Competing Networks.
New Berlin, Wis. –-(Ammoland.com)- Sportsman Channel, leader in outdoor programming for the American Sportsman, has long been known as having more hours of bowhunting programming than any other network – but now the network is solidifying its reign over the bow and arrow with the recent additions of Easton Bowhunting and Muzzy Bad to the Bone Bowhunting TV for 2011.
The addition of these high caliber shows from the arrow giant, Easton, and Muzzy broadheads to the network’s existing slate of quality shows further positions Sportsman Channel as the number one destination for big game hunting adventures.
“Muzzy and Easton’s programs solidify Sportsman Channel as the leader in bowhunting programming,” said Sportsman Channel’s CEO, Gavin Harvey. “We are the only network with a full primetime night dedicated to bowhunting with our Full Draw Friday Nights. And the archery category only continues to strengthen in popularity.”
“We’re excited to join Sportsman Channel, the programming is a perfect match for the format of Easton Bowhunting,” said Fred Eichler, host. “We know the network is made up of avid outdoor enthusiasts who have a passion for the outdoors – and that’s exactly our demographic.”
“Muzzy Bad to the Bone Bowhunting TV is all about bringing the excitement of hardcore bowhunting to our viewers and the Sportsman Channel is just that, a channel truly dedicated to the sportsman. We are thrilled to be partnering with Sportsman Channel in 2011,” said Muzzy Archery CEO, Michele Eichler.
Host Fred Eichler of Easton Bowhunting treks across the country in search of big game opportunities and viewers responded in droves for his enthusiasm and knowledge of the hunt. “We are filming outstanding adventure bowhunts and are excited for those to hit the airwaves on this upcoming season of Easton Bowhunting.,” added Eichler. “Viewers will enjoy the action from Alaska to Australia in 2011 and they won’t want to miss one second of the up-close hunting.”

“We couldn’t be happier with how the show is lining up for 2011. Muzzy will be bringing viewers great hunts and lots of Muzzy moments as part of Sportsman’s Full Draw Friday Night Bowhunting Block,” added Michele Eichler.
