DeKalb, Illinois – -(Ammoland.com)-Reed Snyder and J.D. are very happy to host Chad Larson, product manager of Aero Precision on this week’s edition of the AR-15 Podcast!
J.D. will personally attest to the quality of the Aero Precision product. Chad begins with some history about the beginnings in Aero’s first machine shop out of a garage.
The first jobs were for the aerospace industry where they carved out a niche. In the early 2000s, the company transitioned its focus from the volatile aerospace industry and into machining other things, including firearms parts.
Nextt, Chad expounds on the early product line for Aero, which of course began with uppers and lowers for everyone’s favorite black rifle, before moving on to some of the more modular specialty pieces.
Over the years, the company experienced significant growth with production ramping up and unique products coming out from barrels, bolt carrier groups, handguards, and scope mounts. Looking forward, Chad talks about the future plans for the company, and where he thinks the company is going regarding growth and diversity.
