April 25 Is The Deadline For Arizona Outdoor Hall of Fame Nominations

Arizona -(Ammoland.com)- The deadline to nominate inductees to the Wildlife for Tomorrow Foundation’s Arizona Outdoor Hall of Fame is Friday, April 25.

Each year, individuals and organizations are recognized by the Outdoor Hall of Fame for their contributions and roles in supporting Arizona’s wildlife, the welfare of its natural resources, and the state’s outdoor heritage.

Completed nomination forms and all supplemental materials may be submitted by mail, email or fax and received no later than April 25, 2014.

The Wildlife for Tomorrow Foundation annual banquet will be held on Aug. 23, 2014 in Scottsdale, where the new Outdoor Hall of Fame inductees will be honored.

Individuals inducted into the Outdoor Hall of Fame in the past have had backgrounds in wildlife volunteerism, corporate leadership, politics, wildlife art, and the media. They include: Ben Avery, Barry Goldwater, Morris K. Udall, Bill Quimby and Tom Woods.

Among the groups and organizations inducted into the Outdoor Hall of Fame in the past are Adobe Mountain Wildlife Center Volunteers, Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club, Arizona Public Service and Salt River Project.

About The Outdoor Hall of Fame

The Outdoor Hall of Fame was established in 1998 by the Wildlife for Tomorrow Foundation, an independent nonprofit organization that works with the Arizona Game and Fish Department to enhance the management, protection and enjoyment of Arizona’s fish and wildlife resources. Wildlife for Tomorrow provides additional support for projects and education activities where traditional resources are not adequate.
