Indiana –-(Ammoland.com)- Gun owners in Indiana need to be reminded that just because there isn’t any in your face reports about anti gun promotions, the liberty shredding machine is still grinding away.

This group was founded by Shannon Watts from Zionsville, Indiana after the Connecticut school shooting. She is also the person who testified in the conference committee that I chaired during hearings on SB 229 allowing guns on school property this past session. That was a very crowded room with a lot of people signed up to testify. The only one to speak in favor of the bill was the liaison for the NRA.
According to the report the group has kicked off a 6 figure drive in placing full page and half page ads in newspapers across the country as well as USA Today. It’s also reported they have ads on homepages of websites and a billboard in Cincinnati which is where Kroger is based.
Target, Starbucks and other store chains have capitulated under pressure. It was only weeks after Watts testified in the committee that she appeared on the Today Show sitting next to Michael Bloomberg.
There is big money behind this group and as you can see on some of the pictures in the ads, there is no shame on cropping pictures to make a fictional image.
The Second Amendment will forever be under threat to being sent to the landfill and with a federal government that has all the value of a broken camshaft, it’s going to be up to state legislatures to tame the wolves.
With world violence marching closer to our country perhaps some of those who see no need in taking up the responsibility of lending a hand in protecting freedom , in particular the Second Amendment, might snap out of their slumber and make a stand in accepting the duty of being an American citizen.
