Wauwatosa, Wisconsin –-(AmmoLand.com)- After several firings your brass may start to become brittle and drastically shorten your case life.

Annealing your cases will soften the case and prevent brittle brass.

In this video ammosmith.com demonstrates the annealing process using tools found around the house. By chucking a 12mm deep socket into a cordless drill you can evenly and safely apply the proper heat to the case using a propane torch.

Once the brass is heated properly simply dump it into your water bucket.
