Titusville, FL –“As Americans go to the mid-term voting polls, observers realize that the current wave of Islamist terror attacks shows citizens need firearms,” gun rights expert John M. Snyder said here today
“There’s no place in the real world for restrictive gun control measures or for supporters of such measures,” he added.
A recent Rasmussen survey revealed U.S. voters think radical Islamic terrorism is a threat to this country.
The telephone survey indicated that, “86% of likely U.S. voters now consider radical Islamic terrorism a threat to the United States.”
Snyder stated, “We face a new situation. News reports here in the United States but also in Canada and throughout the world reveal that.
“Individual Islamists, egged into murderous attacks on innocent civilians and others by extremist Islamist propaganda, wage terrorist war against innocent people. The situation is reaching a terrifying level, with people not knowing where or when these ideologically charged terrorists will strike.”
“In this burgeoning scenario,” Snyder observed, “it is as obvious as the nose on your face that Americans need firearms and access to guns and ammunition. People must be able to counter the terrorists wherever and whenever they strike.
“It is equally obvious that in this new world of reality, promoters of restrictive gun control measures truly constitute a social problem. They really are out of it.
“Experts say recent terrorist murders are just the beginning.
In fact, former New York City Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik said after an Islamist ax attack on police officers that, ‘This is just the beginning – there will be more attacks.’
After the recent Islamist murderous attacks in Ottawa, Canada, retired four-star General Michael Hayden, the former director of both the CIA and the National Security Agency, had a frightening comment. “Beyond a certain point, attacks like this are not preventable,” he said.
Snyder noted that the FBI issued a recent warning that American journalists are likely targets of Islamist attacks such as the recent beheadings of two American journalists in the Middle East.
Snyder said that, “Whether it’s here in the United States where an Islamist terrorist recently beheaded a woman in Oklahoma city, or in other countries, terrorists attack individuals.
“Here in the United States, we should scrap nonsensical gun laws and nonsensical anti-gun politicians.”
