Manufacturer and importer American Tactical launched the all-new 5.56 HFS Muzzle Brake designed to bring an ultra slim design to the rifle platform.
The HFS, or Hold control Follow-through Stabilizer, is the latest accessory to hit American Tactical’s lineup. Offering an ultra-slim 0.750-inch design, the muzzle device provides for easy work on the gas system without the need to remove the brake from the barrel.
Large, lateral ports combined with smaller, dorsal ports aim to reduce muzzle climb with American Tactical reporting a reduction of as much as 95-percent. The reduction in climb allows shooters to make more accurate follow-up shots.
The brake features standard 5.56 barrel threading of 1/2×28. Constructed from 4140 steel, the 2.25-inch device also features a proprietary slim crush washer. The muzzle brake boasts 100-percent production in the U.S. by American Tactical’s facility located in South Carolina.
The HFS Muzzle Brake is available from American Tactical with a price tag of $49.95.
