American Deer & Wildlife Alliance Captures Renowned Photographer
AUSTIN, Texas – -(AmmoLand.com)- Adding to services offered on the American Deer & Wildlife Alliance’s ‘Buyer’s Guide’ is photography by Lisa Wallgren, the owner and photographer of Lisa’s Photography based in Colorado City, Texas. Involved extensively with both the Texas Deer Association and North American Deer Farmers Association, Lisa not only brings a keen eye to her work but also her experience from being part of the hunting community.
“The American Deer & Wildlife Alliance (ADWA) is proud to welcome Lisa’s photography to our family, as our members like to work within our tight-knit national community. Lisa’s extensive experience not only as a pet owner but as a Veterinary Technician separates her from other photographers,” says ADWA director of operations Annie Jones.
Lisa Wallgren adds, “Joining ADWA was a no-brainer: being able to showcase my work and support deer breeders in the process was a great opportunity. Capturing the emotions of an animal is what my photography is all about – whether it’s fun and silly, serious and soulful, or crazy and non-stop! My life has revolved around animals and the deer industry, and led me naturally to intermingle those talents to produce photographs that will last a lifetime.”
Throughout her travels and adventures there has rarely been a moment when Lisa Wallgren did not have a camera in-hand. Raised in the exotics business, Lisa has seen some country : Involvement with an equine breeding operation led her to Arizona, after which she moved onto the mountains of Wyoming over to the plains of southeast Montana. Graduating from Sul Ross State University with an AS in Veterinary Technology in 2005, Wallgren is also currently employed with the PAX 96 Ranch & Whitetail Center. In her free time, Lisa trains and works her bloodhound Charleigh on tracking wounded deer.
“ADWA member Texas Deer Association (TDA), of which Wallgren is currently the Region 3 Secretary/Treasurer, is how we were introduced to Lisa’s Photography and we are proud to call her an ADWA member,” adds Jones.
