Alliance, OH -(AmmoLand.com)- The Alliance Police Training Facility (Alliance, OH) is proud to announce we will once again be hosting a series of breaching classes instructed by Master Breacher John Mayer.
Mayer is a former US Army Special Forces Engineer (7TH SFG) whom you may recall from Olive Security Training Center and Tactical Energetic Entry Systems (TEES), where he was the Director of Training and part owner. Like all courses conducted at the Alliance Police Training Facility, these classes (closed to all but military and law enforcement students in other places) will be open to properly vetted US citizens.
Whether you have are a military/LE professional, have a civilian job specific need, or wish to be better prepared to maneuver urban terrain in a SHTF situation, these breaching classes are just one series of several you might find useful.
Among the breaching series this year will be the following:
- April 15—17 Mechanical, Ballistic and Thermal Breaching
- April 18—21 Explosive Breaching
- October 14—16 Mechanical, Ballistic and Thermal Breaching
- October 17—20 Explosive Breaching
Much of these classes will be instructed at our world class training facility, but a substantial part of the actual breaching will take place in various abandoned facilities in and around the city of Alliance, OH. This will provide students a unique opportunity to train on a variety of structures in several different types of urban areas, each presenting its own threats and challenges.
Not interested in door charges, shooting locks, or cutting your way through metal doors with a torch? Consider attending one of several other open enrollment courses currently scheduled at our facility. In addition to firearms, medical and self defense classes taught by APD personnel, we will be hosting such noted training organizations as Sentinel Concepts, LMS Defense, 88 Tactical and EAG Tactical.
The Alliance Police Training Facility has a state of the art classroom, multiple flat ranges for handgun and rifle, an eight thousand square foot shoothouse, and an aircraft fuselage onsite. Additionally we have secure storage capacity, loaner weapons and equipment, and a negotiated billeting rate at the Holiday Inn Express just ten minutes away to keep lodging prices down. We will also soon have an ever expanding pro shop if you require additional or replacement gear on site.
