Aimpoint moves 12 miles south of old facility

After more than 10 years in Chantilly, Virginia, optics maker Aimpoint moved shop 12 miles down Route 28 to Manassas.

The company released a statement Monday to announced the relocation of its U.S. headquarters.

Aimpoint’s president, Brian Lisankie, said the new digs is a “state of the art location” that offers increased office and warehouse space.

“Being located directly on the Route 66 corridor gives us quick and easy access to Washington DC, as well as Washington Dulles Airport, and is big enough to accommodate our growth requirements into the future,” he said.

According to the company’s website, Aimpoint products are manufactured in Sweden, where it originated, and U.S. operations will continue from Virginia.
