Adaptive Tactical injected a little color into its line of EX Performance adjustable M4-style stocks, adding flat dark earth as an option to consumers.
The EX Performance stock, designed for the AR-15 and AR-10 platforms, is designed to be easily installed by users. Fully adjustable, the M4-style design features an easy to reach, oversized rapid adjust lever built with reinforce locking adjustment pin. The design allows shooters to quickly adjust length of pull on the fly.
The stock boasts integrated QD swivel attachments and a nonslip, removable, vented, rubber recoil pad. Measuring 2 inches by 6 inches by 6 1/4 inches, the stock tips scales at 12 ounces with the recoil pad installed.
Adaptive Tactical says the EX platform was designed to work alongside powerful calibers while saving shooters’ shoulders.
“We had hard-hitting calibers like .308, .458 SOCOM and .50 Beowulf in mind when designing the EX Performance stock. It’s made out of high impact polymer, has an oversized, high-strength adjustment pin and a thick recoil pad that’ll soak up the most punishing recoil, all while weighing in at less than a pound,” Gary Cauble, director of sales and marketing for Adaptive Tactical, said in a press release. “You asked for it and we listened, due to high customer demand, the popular EX Performance stock is now available in flat dark earth.”
The EX Performance adjustable stock, now in flat dark earth or standard black, retails for just under $50.
