A Quest for Whitetail on This Week’s The High Road with Keith Warren
NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — As an unwavering voice for American hunters and sportsmen, The High Road with Keith Warren television program celebrates our outdoor tradition this week with an exciting quest for whitetail deer in Central Pennsylvania.
Airing on the Pursuit Channel for the week of January 11, 2010, this week’s episode features Keith Warren hunting at Quest Haven Lodge with a Stryker crossbow, equipped with a binary cam system, internal cocking device and a miliary-standard Weaver accessory rail. Located outside Tyrone, amidst the breathtaking mountains of central Pennsylvania, Quest Haven features deep hardwood forests, hollows and rolling green meadows that provides a challenging and rewarding hunt in a beautiful serene setting.
“Crossbow hunting helps recruits young hunters into the sport and allows many veteran hunters to continue enjoying the sport even when they may no longer be physically able to use a compound bow,” says Keith Warren, one of the most celebrated personalities in the outdoor television industry. “I’ve been a crossbow hunter for many years, and Quest Haven Lodge is an incredible location for a premium whitetail experience.”
Although individual states and provinces have varying restrictions, crossbow hunting is legal throughout most of North America. Crossbows have been used for more than 2,000 years, and today provide hunters with new means to hunt and shoot small and big game.
The High Road airs three times a week on The Pursuit Channel (Direct TV 608), Friday at 12 a.m., Sunday at 11 a.m. and Sunday at 8:30 p.m. Keith Warren’s other program — Deer & Wildlife Stories — also airs three times a week on the Pursuit Channel, showing on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 12 a.m. All times are EST.
