Pennsylvania – -(Ammoland.com)- Pennsylvania’s Elk State Forest is typically known, in part, as home of the state’s free roaming elk herd.
However there is more to be found there.
This week Jeanne Wambaugh, who is the Forest District Supervisor along with Assistant District Forster Wade Kisler of the Elk State Forest provides an overview of a number of exciting projects slated to begin this year.
From controlled burns to locating, and exploring specific wild, and natural areas the Elk State Forest has a lot to offer.
The program airs Monday January 12th 2015. Gateway Outdoors is heard every Monday at 6 PM on WCED 1420 AM, 107.9 FM and 96.7 FM, and live streamed on the Internet.
The program can also be enjoyed the following week archived on the WCED Talk Radio web site.
