This is part of a back-and-forth between Star Wars: Episode VII’s J.J. Abrams and the Bat’s Snyder where the two are trying to outclass each other with the rest of the world’s most cherished childhood memories.

It would be more upsetting except Millennium Falcon!!1

Here’s what kicked off all this one-upsmanship.

Clearly Abrams had to set the record straight. Ain’t no Superman gonna be all Empire of the Sith. You know Abrams had to go on record.
