Leading Innovator of Tactical Gear Brings Next-Generation Uniform to Market in a Head-to-Toe Tactical Solution
Las Vegas, NV -(Ammoland.com)- Today, at the 2015 NSSF SHOT Show 5.11 Tactical; the global innovator of tactical gear, debuted its Next Level Uniform collection of premium gear designed for officers looking for a more lightweight and durable uniform option.
Building on the success of the company’s popular Stryke Pant, 5.11 Tactical engineered each purpose- built component to create the uniform of the future. Designed to increase the speed, mobility and comfort of law enforcement and tactical duty professionals, the uniform is constructed to withstand the rigorous demands of on-duty job responsibilities.
The Next Level Uniform collection—which includes the Stryke Patrol Duty Uniform (PDU), Stryke Tactical Duty Uniform (TDU), EVO Boots and Stryke Motor Pant—features uniform shirt and pant options, responsive and agile tactical boots and the industry’s first motorcycle pant made with a dynamic combination of Flex-Tac fabric and KEVLAR lining.
“Industry needs and officer preferences have evolved to require a more lightweight—yet durable—uniform solution, able to provide freedom of movement while standing up to the toughest conditions,” said 5.11 Tactical CEO, Tom Davin. “Each component of the Next Level Uniform Collection has been crafted to meet those demands and improve the safety of our customers.”
5.11 Tactical’s Next Level Uniform is tailored to meet the needs of both law enforcement and tactical duty professionals. The Stryke PDU, TDU and Motor Pant all incorporate Flex-Tac fabric—which offers patent pending features, such as mechanical stretch—to provide officers with freedom of movement.
Additional attributes of each component of the Next Level Uniform include:
- Stryke Motor Pant — 5.11 Tactical’s Stryke Motor Pant provides safety and comfort on the open road, while ensuring motor officers are always ready to take on their day-to-day duties. The use of Flex-Tac fabric, a self-adjusting waistband and a gusseted crotch allow for all day comfort and improved range of motion. The Stryke Motor Pant also allows officers to work while seated, as it features articulated knees cargo pockets and adjustable elastic stirrups to keep pants from creeping up. KEVLAR lining in the hips, knees and seat area provide added protection from road rash. The pants will be available in February 2015 for $159.99 MSRP in Black, TDU Khaki, Midnight Navy, TDU Green and Dark Navy.
- Stryke PDU — a two-piece pant/shirt set, the Stryke PDU offers new elements, such as hidden document pockets in the shirt, a low profile cargo pocket and built-in flashlight pocket. The Stryke PDU will be available in February 2015 for $84.99 MSRP in Black and Midnight Navy.
- Stryke TDU — the Stryke TDU is a two-piece pant/shirt set. The top is designed to be worn under an outer plate carrier or load bearing vest. Canted front chest pockets and reinforced, articulated elbows ensure lasting durability and comfort wear—the TDU pant offers a fitted waist band with stretch. An articulated pattern provides a streamlined appearance while allowing full range of movement. 5.11 Tactical also included double layered knees for enhanced durability. The Stryke TDU will be available in February 2015 for $89.99 MSRP in Black, Storm, TDU Khaki, TDU Green and Dark Navy.
- EVO Boot — the new EVO Boot is constructed to allow for a more natural stance and responsive feel with a 14mm heel-to-toe drop, while a nylon shank works to provide torsional rigidity. 5.11 Tactical incorporated patented D3O Impact Protection for a softer, more flexible and shock-absorbent foundation. Customers can select from 6-inch and 8-inch height options and the boots can also be purchased with waterproof or composite safety toe (CST) features added. The EVO Boot will be available in May 2015 for $124.99-149.99 MSRP in Black, the CST boot comes in Bison.
The Next Level Uniform builds upon 5.11 Tactical’s robust offerings for law enforcement and tactical professionals, which include: the Sierra Bravo Duty Belt and Zero-G Plates System and its exclusive line of ChromaFlex badges.
