Authorities in Polk County, Florida, are hoping someone will recognize a truck captured on surveillance video during a burglary at a gun store early Sunday morning.
The incident unfolded just before 3 a.m. at Titan Arms, but the truck driven by the suspects was captured on security cameras at a nearby business moments before the crime took place.
The suspects broke metal bars and smashed a window to gain access to the facility. Once inside, they grabbed approximately 30 handguns and 10 various-styled rifles before making their get-away.
Witnesses said there appeared to be three black males involved in the burglary, one of whom stayed in the truck while the other two grabbed the goods.
The truck is described as a 2009 to 2014 gray Ford F-150 extended cab with chrome wheels and bumpers. The front grill is the horizontal slat style and the bed has a black cover.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Robert Berganza at 863-298-6200 or Heartland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS (8477). A cash reward is available and all callers can remain completely anonymous.
