Fort Benning, GA -(AmmoLand.com)- The public is invited to watch some of the biggest names in multi-gun shooting compete in the 2015 Fort Benning Multi-gun Challenge Dec. 4-6 at Krilling Range.

Jerry Miculek, Taran Butler, and Ashley Rheuark are among more than 180 multi-gun competitors who are set to square off in a three-gun shooting challenge built and overseen by the U.S Army Marksmanship Unit Action Shooting Team members. The scenario-based stages represent some of the Army’s most grueling special-skills courses.

Pros and aspiring multi-gun shooters will test their abilities firing rifles, pistols and shotguns at stationary targets ranging from 3 to 400 meters, and moving and flying targets. Shooters will also have a chance to fire select military weapons throughout various courses of fire.

The match will begin at 7:30 a.m. each day, and an awards ceremony at Krilling Range will begin at 2 p.m. on Dec. 6.

For more information about the multi-gun event, the public can contact the Action Shooting Team at 706-545-8408 or 706-545-9716.
