U.S.A.-(Ammoland.com)- Lehigh Defense is pleased to announce the release of our latest addition to our Controlled Chaos Copper line, a high-performance bullet that can reach out and perform at 500 yards, well past the point where every other manufacturer’s 223 ammunition fails to expand.

Want an up close and personal defense round? Yeah, it does that too!

Our new 62gr CCCu bullet will extend the range of your Pistol, SBR, or Rifle with terminal performance never seen before.

The Controlled Chaos Copper bullet is a solid copper projectile designed to provide Controlled, Predictable and Repeatable fragmentation. The CCCu bullet outperforms the competition by providing a tremendous energy transfer whether the bullet is traveling at 1,450 fps, or infinity and beyond fps. The bullet is designed to fragment into multiple solid components; 4-6 petals and 1 wadcutter base. The magic starts at 1.5 inches into the gel when the transfer of energy occurs, creating an impressive wound cavity bloom that measures 5+ inches in diameter and extends for 7+ inches.

In addition to the remarkable performance in the target, the bullet is also barrier blind, only expanding when it hits “wet”. Barriers of hide, bone, drywall, wood, glass, etc. are breached without deformation of the projectile and only upon contact with a hydraulic media will the expansion occur.

The terminal performance can be seen in the 10% ordnance gelatin block below.
