U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- The 2017 BHA North American Rendezvous exceeded all goals and expectations. Thanks to all BHA members for playing a part in this monumental weekend.
Through your continued support and grassroots dedication to keeping public lands in public hands, we shattered fundraising records and confirmed that what we do on a daily basis is literally changing the landscape of conservation in the United States and Canada.
More than 6,000 hunters, anglers, locavores, conservationists and outdoor recreationists came with their families to western Montana to celebrate BHA and reassert the power of the citizenry in sustaining our lands and waters and supporting our outdoor traditions. Over the course of three days, April 7-9, we discussed conservation topics, tested backcountry skills at hands-on seminars, competed in camping-style culinary events and took advantage of the outdoor opportunities that are rife in the Northern Rockies during the springtime, like our pictured #HiketoHunt group on Missoula’s Mt. Sentinel. BHA’s national board confirmed four new BHA chapters in Alberta, the Southeast, the Capital Region and South Dakota, resulting in a current total of 35 states and two provinces with BHA representation.
It’s undeniable: BHA’s growing membership is a force to be reckoned with. And this year’s North American Rendezvous lit a fire in the name of our public lands that can’t be extinguished – or ignored.
Special thanks go to the sponsors of BHA’s 6th annual North American Rendezvous, including Benchmade Knives, Camp Chef, CRKT, First Lite, Flyvines, Forest Business Network, Kimber, Leupold, Montana Fly Company, onXmaps, Schnee’s, Seek Outside, Sitka Gear, Traditional Bowhunter, Western Hunter and YETI.
It’s not too late to be a part of the 2017 Rendezvous! Our online auctions will be live through Sunday at midnight. We’re offering great trips like a dock dinner in Washington and a bow building class with Clay Hayes. Place your bid here.
The 2018 BHA North American Rendezvous will take place in Boise, Idaho. Dates and details are forthcoming, and we look forward to seeing you there.
