Honeoye Falls, NY –(Ammoland.com)- Divisional, Lady and Junior Races Return, Two New Divisions Debut

The debut of two new 3GN points races at 3GN-Affiliated matches highlight the coming 3-gun season, ensuring there is a competitive 3GN series for every skill and experience level at national, major 3-gun matches.

From the beginning, 3GN was conceived to become the true national example of professional 3-Gun action shooting. Thanks to our sponsors, our competition system and mediums are now in place. With the help from a long list of knowledgeable resources in and around the sport—we have created this comprehensive plan to continue our work and build this sport in a true professional manner, as well as facilitate programs and incentives to participate for Semi-Pro, Amateur, Clubs, Equipment Divisions, Ladies and Junior 3-Gun competitors at local, regional and national levels.

As we continue efforts for the Pro Series Tour, we will also continue to promote the sport of 3-gun in every venue type, adding the foundation for all levels of participation at 3GN Pro Tour events, major “Outlaw” events, local club events and much more.

3-Gun Nation Divisional Championships, Presented by Hornady
Featuring the top competitors in all of 3-gun, the 3-Gun Nation Divisional Championships, presented by Hornady, identifies the “Shooter of the Year” in five equipment divisions.

While 3GN Pro Series competitors are automatically entered into the 3GN Divisional Series, this points series is also open to any 3-gun competitor (excluding 3GN Semi-Pro and 3GN Amateur competitors).

3GN Division points may be earned at Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun, Rocky Mountain 3-Gun, Midwest 3-Gun, MGM Ironman, Ozark 3-Gun Championships, Blue Ridge Mountain 3-Gun and Northwest 3-Gun.

3-Gun Nation Club Series
In 2013 3-Gun Nation will introduce the 3GN Club Series, where competitors can compete for score, a national ranking, prizes, and ultimately in the future —a slot in the 3GN Championship— without ever leaving their home club.

To proof the concept, this year 3GN will introduce a “Pilot Program” with a selection of hand-picked clubs. Courses of fire, reporting of scores, and overall logistics of this program will be developed in concert with the 3GN Pilot Clubs.

Look for more information throughout the season as we follow the progress of the 3GN Club Pilot Program.

3GN Outlaw Series
To participate in a 3GN Outlaw Division Series, competitors must register at www.3GunNation.com (Online membership and payment tool still under construction. Completion and announcement coming soon.). The 3GN Membership Fee will be $25 for each division, with a portion of the proceeds donated to the 3GN-Task Force Dagger Wounded Warrior 3-Gun Team!

The 3GN Outlaw Programs in no way effect host match prize tables or how these events are run in any way. The programs are additional competitive elements and prize structures administered in partnership with major 3-gun events.

When combined with the 3GN Pro Series , the Outlaw Series comprise an important part of 3GN’s comprehensive plan to grow the sport of 3-gun—on TV and the web via 3GN properties, at the match level with increased sponsor support of events and shooters, and at the ground level with increased participation in the sport of 3-gun.

“3-Gun Nation” airs only on NBC Sports Network. Also, be sure to check out the 3GN Forum, powered by AR15.com, and follow threads posted by 3GN, Stag Arms’ Jesse Tischauser, Noveske’s Jansen Jones and more here.
