Police in Houston are looking are looking for a huge group of crooks who used a truck to rip the doors off Carter’s Country Guns and Ammo and grab as many guns as they could.
Authorities are on the lookout for a Ford F-250 and as many as 10 hooded suspects who tied chains to the reinforced security doors at Carter’s on the 11000 block of South Wilcrest Drive around 5 a.m. on Tuesday.
Once the doors were ripped from the frame, the burglars got to burglarizing and snatched up more than 50 guns from display cases, even dropping firearms in the parking lot as they made their getaway.
According to follow up reports from KPRC, police think the smash and grab gun thieves stopped at a nearby secondary location and switched vehicles, leaving that possibly in a late model Chevrolet Traverse SUV.
